Get #OnTheRivet

The C13 utilises the same vulcanised natural rubber and organic cotton top of the Cambium line, yet weighs 150g less than the popular C15 model. This is accomplishe d through a continuous carbon rail that eliminates performance-resistant contact points and saves weight.

Finished with aluminium rivets in all black, the C13 is the first in a new lightweight Cambium range from which various new models will follow.

Tested in the Arenberg Forest by David Millar.

Comfort at its lightest.

Perfect, for some.
I bought the C13 and was initially impressed by the appearance and build quality.
This was further reinforced by the road buzz killing nature of the carbon rails.
However, the saddle itself was not quite what I expected. It is firmer with no padding so take that into consideration before buying.
I played around with position and got it to acceptable levels of comfort. Lowering the seat post was the biggest influence.
I then had a light bulb moment whilst riding into a head wind on the drops. It is in this position that it was most comfortable.
My conclusion is that this saddle is for racers who ride on the drops.
If you predominately ride on the hoods then chances are that you ideally want a saddle that doesn't exist - The C17c.
That would be a saddle with Cambium practicalities, B17 comfort levels and carbon rail road buzz killing. Not to forget about lightweight to boot.

Best cambium!
MY 4th brooks saddle, you guys are allways pushing it up, love the materials and the finish; ultra-comfortable. It fits perfect as you open the box. The only regret it is that because its beauty it can be stolen if you are a city rider so it is difficult to put a lock in.
