Unearthed

In 2025, we uncovered an assortment of leather saddle tops in our factory from a variety of manufacturing processes and periods. Rather than see them go to waste, we made them into a small, vibrant, limited release batch of leather saddles. The saddle models and colours are defined by the tops we have available — meaning every piece in this collection is, in its own way, irreplaceable. Each Unearthed saddle is the result of a small discovery moment inside our Smethwick factory: leather tops produced over years and decades of saddle-making, each one bearing the character of the period and technique that shaped it. Rather than discard or recycle these unique pieces, our craftspeople carefully built each one into a finished saddle, hand-finished to the same Brooks standards that define every model we make. The result is a vibrant, character-rich limited release in which no two saddles are exactly alike. Quantities are strictly determined by the leather tops available, and once a model or colourway is gone, it is gone for good. For collectors, long-time Brooks enthusiasts and riders who value the story behind their bike, the Unearthed collection is a celebration of craftsmanship, sustainability and serendipity.
