The Cambium is one of the only bicycle seats with a genuinely suspended top over a metal framework – very similar to the way in which our leather saddles are constructed. To achieve this ‘suspension’, vulcanised rubber – chosen due to its flexibility and durability – is moulded into the saddle shape of choice. Harvested from trees then vulcanised, the rubber is hardwearing and instantly comfortable – avoiding any time needed to ‘break in’ the saddle for the rider. When used like this, the rubber has high-elasticity, strength and an ability to return to its original shape. It reacts to and follows the rider's movements, creating an almost symbiotic sensation as your ride with it.
