In the Brooks tradition, these Plump Leather Grips for the handlebar are made of natural leather, the same Vegetable Tanned Leather used for our saddle tops. Each grip is made with a stack of leather washers cut from the remainder of our saddle production, held together by 3 spokes, enabling the grip to be adjusted to the desired length. The standard length of each grip is 130 mm, but each grip can be shortened to the desired length independently. These comfortable grips are delivered in a box containing shorter 80 mm spokes to shorten.

The vegetable-tanned leather we use in our handlebar grips is much like the material used for our saddles, although thinner and more pliable. It is beautiful to look at, maturing over time and developing a patina; the physical story of your product’s prior existence. Leather like this is also strong, a vital consideration when making objects to be used by cyclists. It will withstand many miles, many trips to work, many off-the-path diversions The natural breathability of leather provides comfort on every ride, from demanding trips to shorter adventures, ensuring your palms stay fresh.

Brooks handlebar grips are designed for use with flat-barred bicycles.
