The B66 is our classic offering for the city cyclist, designed for use with a traditional seat pillar. Beloved by Brook’s customers since 1927, the B66 is a firm favourite among casual touring cyclists.
Since we started producing saddles the range has featured sprung saddles. We have developed a variety of different models with many different spring alignments and set ups. However the most iconic of these is undoubtedly the B66.
The B67 and B67 S are the modern versions of B66 models, first featured in the 1927 catalogue. Classically sprung for supreme comfort, the B67 and B67 S feature single rails for attachment to modern micro-adjust seat pillars.
“ The saddle has been much improved, both in action and appearance.”
“ The method of dealing with road shocks is perfectly simple in action, and has proved itself over the years to be extremely effective and a vast improvement over the simple coil springs. ”
The sides of the Saddle yield alternatively to the pressure of the thighs, giving greater freedom to the legs, and at the same time, reducing the possibility of friction or chafing.
The B66 is a type of saddle that can be recommended with confidence to those who want easy speed over long distances or indifferent road surface..
"I admit I was dubious about the weight of this saddle and the hardness of the leather and I did wonder wheter to opt for a lighter gel-filled saddle, even though it would look out place on my vintage Raleigh Wayfarer. I'm so glad that I didn't because the B66 really is incredibly comfortable. I had expected a painful few weeks or months of wearing-in, but I have had smooth rides and no problems right from day one. Riding on country lanes with lots of potholes I really appreciate the springs. I cannot recommend this saddle highly enough."

"I have used this saddle on my Electra Mulhalland for the last eight months. Love this seat it just gets more comfortable with time. I put about 180 miles a month on it. I commute from San Diego to my workplace in Coronado.
Buying a Brooks saddle isn't an expense it's an investment in future riding comfort. Thank you Brooks for making my rides more comfortable. Not the cheapest just the best."
