The weak link here is the strap that goes around the seat post. The strap has to go around the buckle, which I find very strange. The result is not a clean look, and is not really intuitive. I’m no buckle expert, but I’ve never had one that works like this.

However, the main issue with the seat post strap is not only does it install oddly, but it’s not easily replaced. Most seat bags I’ve ever had are built so the leather strap goes through a slot in the bag. This way a rider can replace the strap should it ever wear out or break. But this strap is permanently affixed to the bag with a rivet. So I can never replace said strap.

Beyond these issues it’s a fine bag, and I do like the overall design. It’s nice in that it conforms to the underside of the saddle. From afar a it’s a good look. But I just wish the seat post strap and buckle were implemented differently.
