Invites Are Going Out For A Special Event At B1866.Correspondence Friends Saddles, Bags, Etc. Events
Maintained correctly, our leather saddles famously tend to outlive many, even most, of the bicycle frames with which they get paired. And it's probably true to say that nobody on the planet is better equipped than Brooks works manager Steven Green to outline the various Do's and Dont's pertaining to their care.To this end, we've coaxed him into making the trip from Birmingham later this month to our flagship store B1866 in London, where on the evening of 22nd May he'll be giving our guests an explanatory run through the different sizes, types, geometries and shapes of leather saddle that Brooks makes, as well as an introduction to the delights of Saddle Maintenance. So if you can't tell a Flyer from a Colt, or if you've ever quietly wondered what that funny little spanner's for, or why your saddle seems to have come with a set of shoelaces, or why Proofide tastes so dashed awful, then allow Steven to clarify matters for you. We have places available for 15 lucky people who wish to be our guests at the shop on the evening of 22nd May. If you'd like to be in with a chance of an invitation, contact the team at B1866 by either emailing Steve the Store Manager, email@example.com or calling +44 (0)20 7836 9968.
