I've always admired the aesthetic of vintage and antique bicycles. So I decided to build a bicycle in the same spirit using mostly salvaged components and and old rusty steel-lugged frame. Of course to complete the look and feel of a proper 'vintage' bicycle, I equipped it with a new Brooks B17 saddle and leather grips. The bike gets a lot of comments and curious stares and actually works as well as it looks.
