I replaced some black vinyl rubber grips with these and have no regrets. The leather quality is high, the machined surfaces are very well-finished, and they look even better in person. An uncommon head is used on the fastening screws (which ought to reduce the risk of theft), and Brooks is thoughtful enough to supply the special driver bit required for installation. The colour is an excellent match with my saddle, and they're comfortable as well. I'm very happy with these, and they significantly improve the appearance of my bike. Nice work!

Got my grips today to put on Brompton. There is clear indication to not tighten the screws with more than 0.75Nm but one of the screws (in the inner clamp) snapped far earlier. Now i am sitting on a pair of grips which are unusuable, cannot remove the threat and cannot find single clamps as a replacement part. Is it possible to get a single clamp as a replacement? Fantastic Brookes Quality and Aesthetics. Unfortunately these beauties do not fit on the Brompton Bikes with M Bars. These Grips are around 20-30mm too long for use on the Bromptons. Hope that Brookes can produce a shorter version so Brompton owners who are faithful to the quality upgrades offered by Brookes, can use this new product on their bikes. Apart from this issue, they are well worth the price for the quality and heritage of the Brand.
Will the slender leather grips fit my M type Brompton? Are they shipping yet? Any tips on getting the foam grips off the Brompton? Thanks?

I 've been using the 'plump' leather grips for about two years now, and in general I 'm pretty pleased with them. A negative thing about them is that the outer diameter is a bit too wide for my rather small hands. And they don 't break in. My hands hurt during long rides because of the roughness of the leather. Are these slender grips smaller in outer diameter? For as far as I can see they are. And I suppose they will be a lot softer, since there is a layer of cork under the leather. When will they be available in Belgium?

As to the grips, they are not yet available for purchase, but will be shortly.
It would be nice to see a half grip version in this slim grip model for use with twist/grip shift options.
